Hi Claudia, I could not agree more about the importance of simplicity. If I'm not mistaken, it was William Faulkner who had one of the most profound pieces of advice for humanity. He wrote, "Simplify, Simplify, Simplify." I see so much beauty, grace, and sophistication in simplicity not just in art but also in life in general. That's why there are no frills, luxury, or bells n' whistles in my way of life. Your love of simplicity is clearly reflected in this lovely image. It beautifully conveys the peace and serenity of winter. I absolutely love this shot. I would like to believe my love of simplicity is also manifest in my photography if you're inclined to check it out. You will also see what a glorious part of the country I live in here in the Colorado Rockies where 54 mountains higher than 14000 feet and more than 750 summits higher than 13000 feet reach the clouds.
